IELTS Preparation Tips And Websites Suggestions

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. When you have registered for ielts exams, or if you have decided to take ielts exams, all candidates need to start preparing for four skills which is reading, writing, listening and speaking. Ielts exams are designed to test, that’s why even native speaker usually has a hard time preparing for this exam, and it is common that native speakers are unable to score high marks. Therefore, students should not start complaining about these exams, in my opinion, candidates should  start focusing to improve each skill.
Today will discuss how to improve listening skill and useful material. I strongly recommend Barron’s Ielts practice exam books. It has a basic  practice of listening, in this book they have given gradual practice for listening, for example first it starts with listening for numbers, then listening for names and addresses. So students can learn gradually how to catch difficult required information.
Secondly, I recommend IELTS-up, it has free listening practice. IELTS Listening Practice Tests there you can find full IELTS Listening Tests and answers to them. All tests are constantly being renewed and correspond to the real exam sections. To get your IELTS Listening score calculated, just follow this procedure:
·        Choose one of the tests and click on the first section of it.
·        Play the audio and answer the questions.
·        After you finish the section, press "check" and you will see the correct and wrong answers, and get your result.
·        Then you can go on to the next section and do the same.
·        After you finish the fourth section, press "Get result!".
This website has 12 full length exams, it might provide an excellent amount of practice. The biggest benefit of this website is its free and authentic. Please follow the link below to visit this website.
Thirdly, I would recommend IELTS TEST ONLINE. The website is not free you have to pay $49.95 for 30 days membership. It has a tremendous amount of practice, I believe it has a hardness level for high intermediate to advanced. Therefore, so many candidates, even if their level has been advanced but they had left education for a while it will be hard for them to start on this website. I would recommend students who haven’t been exposed to the education system for some periods to start with Barron’s books and then subscribe to membership for more practice. IELTStestONLINE is the most comprehensive online IELTS preparation course. With over 80 individual lessons and more than 350 presentation videos, it has step by step guideline.Click the link below to visit ieltstestonline.
Fourthly, you have excellent choice Road TO IELTS from British Council. For one month membership it cost around $49, but personally, I don’t recommend this membership because it doesn’t have huge practice. Only it has six practice exams that really worth practicing. Many candidates like to have this course because it is published by British council so it is relevant to actual Ielts test. Please click the link below to visit Road to Ielts.
Finally, I would extremely recommend this to all the candidates who wants to score high band in ielts because it's free and it has video explanation as well as written explanation. It's “Ielts Liz”, in my opinion Liz is a great ielts teacher, she has hundreds of YouTube video with excellent explanations.she had made free video lessons for Ielts listening with both practice lessons and tips. Her explanation has been appreciated by many non-native students. Click link below to visit her website
